Apple should have gone the Playstation way and release a new Mx every 6 years or so, it's not like people require so much processing power. The intersection of hardware power vs software consumption was about 10 years ago. Only VR gear is lagging. Though I can't complain about being able to buy renewed Intel Macs for under $200.
