Chrome 130 top toast popups, no option to disable under settings
Someone should tell peepz over at the Chrome browser UI team that maybe, do not turn the desktop browser experience into a nightmare.
I just noticed that they implemented these so called toast popups. So whenever you copy a link you get a small popup reminding you that you just copied a link...
Who thought this would be useful in any way to bring this utterly irritating abomination into desktop space? Who needs this? And why isn't there any option or mention in the settings to disable these? Why do I need to get into chrome://flags to eradicate this annoying feature??
Are employees under so much pressure to perform, or why are they implementing completely unnecessary things?

This is what happens when you have corporate funded browsers that employ UI designers. In order for those UI designers to maintain their employment, they must do something, lest the bean counters over in finance ask: "why are we paying them to do nothing?".
So they make change for changes sake, in order to ensure their next paycheck arrives on time. Is the change necessary? No. Is the change wanted? No (at least by everyone but them). Does the change add anything useful? No (other than their continued paychecks).
If there are UI "designers" employed on the team, they will make changes, to ensure they continue to be employed.
Horrible UX, disabled in `chrome://flags/#top-chrome-toasts`
