I wanted to read this, honestly.

But 10s into being on the site... Bam! Popover pleading me to subscribe.

Dismissed and... This isn't even the article. It's a header and one paragraph. I have to clock through.

So I've already wasted a minute or so with wading past the bullshit, and I'm impatient by now. I'm tired of being fucked around.

Then I start reading, and this is not an article for the impatient. The author rambles and I couldn't be bothered to get to the point any more.

10/10 would skip again. Do better with platforms for writing if you actually want people to read what you wrote.
